MCYFL CHARITIES
MCYFL Charities is a 501c nonprofit organization created to help families in need while teaching young athletes what it means to lend a hand and make a difference in someone else’s life.
MCYFL Charities was founded in October 2009 by Morris County Football League members who believed that a league built on community should act like one when community members are struggling most.
The purpose has never changed. We raise money to help families of MCYFL players who are fighting life threatening illnesses including Leukemia and Brain Tumors. We collect donations at games throughout the season and from local businesses across our communities. Every dollar raised stays close to home and goes directly to families who need it.
Since 2009 MCYFL Charities has helped 51 families across 15 programs within our 24-member league and has collected and distributed more than $200,000.
That is what People Helping People looks like in practice.
Every donation goes directly to families in our league who are dealing with the unimaginable. There are three ways to give.
The following families and programs have received support from MCYFL Charities since its founding. We are proud of every one of them and grateful to the donors, volunteers, and community members who made this possible.
